St John's Newtown Year 4s were excited to visit the Kitchen Garden and the Design and Technology department over at the Armstrong Creek campus last week.

Mr Cebergs demonstrated how to use Piro pens to burn a design into wood, which the students then used to create name labels for their own Kitchen Garden back in Newtown. The students were then given a terrific tour by their Armstrong Creek Year 4 counterparts, who showed them all aspects of their Kitchen Garden program.

It was a highly enjoyable and engaging excursion, and a fantastic cross-campus initiative, introducing some students to the Armstrong Creek campus for the first time.
